So says Polly Cisco owner operator of Under One Woof! LLC. Since December 1st 2005 she has offered dog grooming, training and consulting services to the Richland Center community.

“I couldn’t be more pleased with the decision to locate in Richland Center, the customer response has been fantastic!”

Polly began her professional grooming career 5 years ago after completing a 6 month apprenticeship with a master groomer. She currently offers complete grooming services for virtually any breed, with Standard Poodles a specialty.

Under One Woof! offers a bright and clean environment with  modern, safe equipment. Polly strives to stay current on techniques and styles by attending several workshops, seminars and dog shows a year.

As a member of the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers), Polly believes in Dog-Friendly, Positive Reinforcement Training. She trains the handler to train their dog using rewards as a  motivator for great doggie behaviors. Classes include Puppy Socialization, and Beginning Companion Dog Training.

Polly is also a member and licensed evaluator for the Delta Society Pet Partner Therapy Dog Program, and also offers a class to prepare dogs for work in schools, nursing homes, hospitals, anywhere a dog can bring comfort and a smile!

Polly and her Golden Retriever Chloe are very active locally and volunteer as a  “Pet Partner Therapy Dog Team”.

In addition to grooming and training, Under One Woof’s retail section carries colorful scarves, collars, leashes, toys, and healthy training treats. “Sense-able No Pull Harnesses” are available along with free fitting and training. Also on hand, great advice books on common behavior problems by noted behaviorist, Patricia McConnell PhD.
