The Richland
Area Arts Council is a non-profit organization which
opened the Red Door Gallery in 2002 to give local
artists a place to display and sell their work. The
gallery is now located in the lower level of Valley
Antiques Mall in downtown Richland Center, providing an
excellent venue and convenient weekday and weekend hours
for public viewing. |
Richland County has no shortage of
talent, with 45 local artists currently displaying their
work at the gallery in just about every type of media.
You’ll find watercolors, acrylics, oils, pottery, fabric
art, and photography. There are sculptures done in clay,
wood, metal, mixed media, and more. Unique art furniture
is functional and beautiful, as is art clothing and art
decor.

Artists know no limits… they
paint on canvas, wood, stones, feathers, recycled
material of almost any kind, and they combine their art
with the display. Commissions are earned from sales at
the gallery. |
The Richland Area Arts Council continues to support the
gallery and the artists. Individual membership in the
Arts Council is $15 per year . To join, please send your

Local art is also available for viewing on the gallery
website. Artist biographies and samples of their work
can be seen at www.reddoorgallery.org. Click on
“Artists” for a list of artists displaying and the media
they work in. The website changes regularly as work is
sold and new work is added, so you’ll want to save it in
your favorites so you can go back to it regularly.
