About RCDA

In recent years our nation has experienced economic challenges of historic proportions, and we've felt those challenges in Richland County. In response, in 2008 the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce and Richland County Economic Development Corporation began planning a merger of the two organizations.  Through this merger we are able to combine the services and expertise that each organization provides to its members and to the community.  As additional planning evolves, we expect to streamline services, maximize and reinvest resources to eliminate duplication, and build programs and services to best meet the needs of our members and the community.  Leading this initiative are nine individuals who were elected by the respective boards of each organization.
