City wide Rummage Sale Fri, Sat & Sunday.

7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.   Farmer’s Market, Courthouse Square – Contact: Melissa Sprecher - 608-583-7212. 

All Day       Country Trails & Treasures Tour, 15 stops featuring unique farms & products, orchards, arts, antiques & crafts. Pick up brochures at the Visitor Center.

All Day        Wheels of Time, Antique trucks, tractors, cars & more.  Featuring some of the lesser known tractors this year.  Threshing demonstrations, homemade sawmill. There will be a Pie stand by Hill Country Classic Power Club Ladies, food stand by Knights of Columbus (brats, hamburgers, cider, etc.), at Sheafor Farms, County AA 1/2 mile north of Fairgrounds, presented by Hill Country Classic Power Club & the Wisconsin Chapter of American Truck Historical Society – Free Admittance to all spectators & participants, all are welcome. – Contact: Danny Sheafor - 608-647-3836. 

8 a.m. - 4 p.m.   Arts & Crafts on the Square – Sponsored by the Farmer’s Market –  A&C booths (10x10 for $10 ea – all handmade items) Set up 7:30 a.m. Contact: Jennifer Havlik – 608-604-6068.

“Family Fun on the Square”

10 a.m.       Second Annual Memorial Horseshoe Tournament – Krouskop Park, next to the Charles Lawrence shelter – sign up at 10 am, throwing starts at 10:30 am.  $5.00 entry fee, draw for partners.  Contact – Glen Niemeyer - 608-585-3401.

   10 am – 2 pm - 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Richland Center Depot – Train Layout, cake - Sponsored by the RC Railroad Club. Contact Sue Price - 608-647-6205

12 noon – 5:30 p.m.  Pig Roast – at Auditorium, 182 N. Central Ave. – Ameriprise Financial Client Appreciation and open to the public, the street in front will be closed, eat inside or out front – to benefit RCPAC & the Chamber of Commerce. - Bake sales to benefit local non profits. 2 pm & 3:30 pm   Sheepdog Demonstrations - Littledale Farm, 21925 CTH ZZ, a British sheep farm and B&B, welcome you to come have a look around, see the sheep and the sheepdogs, and purchase wool from their flock, along with other items made from the wool.  There will be spinning demonstrations throughout the day. 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. String Ties Blue Grass Band, in front of the Auditorium, bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the music – Sponsored by Auditorium Antiques, Contact: John Scribbins 649-3456.

4 p.m.         Bed Races on Court Street, build & race your own bed… 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place! Sponsored by the Shopping News & WRCO – contact: Deb Mullarkey, 647-2911.

        

Immediately after the Bed race    Duck Race on Court Street, pick your favorite and watch him go! – Sponsored by Bailey’s & Chamber – Contact: Steve Bailey – 608-647-4914.  Tickets: $2 each, 3 for $5. Ducks are available in advance at Bailey’s and at the Chamber office, and on the sidewalk during the bed race. 

7:00 p.m.    10th Annual Canyon of Lights Parade!  This year’s theme: “One Small Step for Man…” – Celebrating 40 Years since the Lunar Landing.  Thousands of people come to see this ever popular illuminated parade through neighborhood streets... residents decorate their homes to create the Canyon and add to the festivities.  Contact: Sue Price - 608-647-6205 or  Download the parade entry form.
